Lynne is an experienced matrimonial attorney and courtroom advocate, joining KSG’s Civil Litigation team in 2023.

Lynne’s practice encompasses general civil litigation with a specialist interest in personal injury and matrimonial law. Lynne joined KSG in 2023 prior to which she was a member of the litigation team at a leading full service law firm in the Cayman Islands and has appeared in a number of unreported decisions of the Grand Court in matrimonial law including KQ v PQ (2015), TF v SD (2016), SF v FJ (2017) and NR v AR (2017).

Lynne represented the Respondent mother in a contested relocation hearing in F v M (2021) following which the Grand Court provided clarity on the use of evidence obtained surreptitiously by the father from social media posts, and recommended that a new Practice Direction be introduced on the volume of evidence filed in the Family Division.

Lynne has also appeared before the Labour Tribunal and Labour Appeals Tribunal of the Cayman Islands in employment matters.

In addition to being admitted in Cayman, Lynne is also admitted to the Bars of Republic of Ireland (currently non-practising), England & Wales (currently non-practising), Northern Ireland (currently non-practising) and is a member of the Cayman Islands Family Law Bar Association.

Lynne holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from University College, Dublin 2006 and a Masters in Law Queens University, Belfast 2007. She was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2008.
